Wood/Finish Options
All Glenview Doors are available in Mahogany and Oak with a variety of stain options. All stains and paints labeled “available” are the same price and come with our K2 finish. The price of Mahogany and Oak change based on availability. At the time of this publishing (9/2022), Oak is more expensive than Mahogany. Samples are available upon request.
Mahogany: Color starts as a light brown with warm undertones and gets darker as it ages. It has a finer grain pattern than oak with a figure that ranges from marbled to linear. The red undertone of the wood can be completely masked by our Coffee Bean or Espresso Stains.
Oak: It has a blonde color with yellow undertones and pronounced grain. All of our flush doors are made with Rift Cut Oak, which has a very linear figure. The yellow undertone can be counteracted by the Grey, Walnut, Light Loft, Coffee Bean, and Espresso stains.
K2 Finish: Our finishes are tested for the most grueling conditions, from arid desert environments, to marine climates. They are designed to be flexible enough to move with the wood, but durable enough to survive any weather. They also have built-in UV inhibitors to prevent sun damage and are applied with specialized machinery to perfectly distribute the formula. The only maintenance required is to apply a conditioning treatment 1-2 times per year. You can read our maintenance instructions for more details.
In addition to the paints and stains below, we can paint doors in any RAL color. All RAL colors come in any finish from Matte to Semi-gloss.
