The 1% Rule
At our company, we aspire to be the best we can be, day in and day out. We do this for our customers, our community, and ourselves.
But being the best isn’t a goal, it’s a habit. Every day, we ask ourselves “how can we get 1% better?” Just one percent. It’s not much. Maybe that means using spell check software when writing emails. Maybe that means remembering to welcome a customer to our showroom with a smile and a warm hello. It’s these micro-improvements, these daily habits, that truly move our company forward.
The compound effect of small habits is very powerful. We did the math: if we improved by 1% every day, then each year we would get 38x better! So, every once in a while, think about how we can improve, even if it’s just by 1%. Share these ideas. Implement these habits. They will make all the difference, and the results will follow.
